Daily Inspections

1.    Slide surface: Check for scratches, cracks, or gel coat damage; ensure assembly bolts are secure.

2.    Water circulation system: Ensure adequate water supply for lubrication; sliding without sufficient water causes rapid wear to the gel coat.

3.    Steel support structure: Check for rust on the galvanized coating and touch up paint as needed.

Weekly Cleaning

Rinse away limescale and algae with clean water; use a soft cloth and neutral detergent for stubborn stains. Strictly avoid steel wool or strong acid/alkali cleaners, as these damage the protective gel coat layer.

Quarterly Deep Maintenance

Sand down minor scratches and perform localized gel coat repairs; tighten all fasteners and inspect foundation anchor points.

Annual/Off-Season Protection

1.    Long-term shutdown (winter): Drain standing water from the slide and cover with a waterproof, UV-resistant tarp.

2.    Refurbishment (every 5–8 years): Sand the entire surface and re-apply the gel coat to restore appearance and structural integrity to like-new condition—at a fraction of the cost of replacing the equipment.

Emergency Repair for Damage

Promptly repair minor cracks using a fiberglass repair kit; delay can lead to water ingress and delamination, expanding the scope of the damage.
